eatorType%22%3A%22author%22%2C%22firstName%22%3A%22Bill%22%2C%22lastName%22%3A%22Vicenzino%22%7D%2C%7B%22creatorType%22%3A%22author%22%2C%22name%22%3A%22COS-LET%20Authorship%20Group%22%7D%5D%2C%22abstractNote%22%3A%22OBJECTIVES%3A%20To%20develop%20a%20core%20outcome%20set%20for%20lateral%20elbow%20tendinopathy%20%28COS-LET%29%20and%20to%20provide%20guidance%20for%20outcome%20evaluation%20in%20future%20studies.%5CnMETHODS%3A%20We%20implemented%20a%20multi-stage%20mixed-methods%20design%20combining%20two%20systematic%20reviews%2C%20domain%20mapping%20of%20outcome%20measurement%20instruments%20to%20the%20core%20domains%20of%20tendinopathy%2C%20psychometric%20analysis%20of%20instruments%2C%20two%20patient%20focus%20groups%20and%20a%20Delphi%20study%20incorporating%20two%20surveys%20and%20an%20international%20consensus%20meeting.%20Following%20the%20OMERACT%20guidelines%2C%20we%20used%20a%2070%25%20threshold%20for%20consensus.%5CnRESULTS%3A%2038%20clinicians%5C%2Fresearchers%20and%209%20patients%20participated.%2060%20instruments%20were%20assessed%20for%20inclusion.%20The%20only%20instrument%20that%20was%20recommended%20for%20the%20COS-LET%20was%20Patient%20Rated%20Tennis%20Elbow%20Evaluation%20%28PRTEE%29%20for%20the%20disability%20domain.%20Interim%20recommendations%20were%20made%20to%20use%3A%20the%20PRTEE%20function%20subscale%20for%20the%20function%20domain%3B%20PRTEE%20pain%20subscale%20items%201%2C%204%20and%205%20for%20the%20pain%20over%20a%20specified%20time%20domain%3B%20pain-free%20grip%20strength%20for%20the%20physical%20function%20capacity%20domain%3B%20a%20Numerical%20Rating%20Scale%20measuring%20pain%20on%20gripping%20for%20the%20pain%20on%20activity%5C%2Floading%20domain%3B%20and%20time%20off%20work%20for%20the%20participation%20in%20life%20activities%20domain.%20No%20recommendations%20could%20be%20made%20for%20the%20quality-of-life%2C%20patient%20rating%20of%20condition%20and%20psychological%20factors%20domains.%5CnCONCLUSIONS%3A%20The%20COS-LET%20comprises%20the%20PRTEE%20for%20the%20disability%20domain.%20Interim-use%20recommendations%20included%20PRTEE%20subscales%2C%20time%20off%20work%2C%20pain-free%20grip%20strength%20and%20a%20Numerical%20Rating%20Scale%20measuring%20pain%20on%20gripping.%20Further%20work%20is%20required%20to%20validate%20these%20interim%20measures%20and%20develop%20suitable%20measures%20to%20capture%20the%20other%20domains.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%222022-06%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22eng%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%2210.1136%5C%2Fbjsports-2021-105044%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%221473-0480%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22%22%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%22S56ZU2DB%22%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222023-06-20T19%3A46%3A00Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
