Tak Fukunaga, DPT, SCS, ATC, CSCS, is a licensed physical therapist, board-certified specialist in sports physical therapy, certified athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Tak is also the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. As a physical therapist, Tak specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and sports-related injuries, as well as rehabilitation after surgery. As a researcher, Tak works within a multidisciplinary research team and conducts clinical and applied science research in physical therapy, exercise science, and orthopedic surgery. His clinical and research interests include treatment of running-related injuries, rehabilitation after arthroscopic surgery, and fall prevention in the elderly.

Tak graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College with Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. Tak holds an academic appointment at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is an adjunct instructor and master clinician for the Department of Physical Therapy at New York University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, orthopedic and sports physical therapy sections.
