Rehabilitation Specialist – Cancer Rehab
Julia is a licensed Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTR/L, OTD) and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in exercise & sports science and psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021, and her Doctorate in occupational therapy from Boston University in 2024. Her clinical interests include cancer rehabilitation, post-surgical manual therapy, and cosmetic surgery rehabilitation.
Julia was awarded the North Carolina Governor’s Volunteer Medallion Award in 2021 for her work founding a chapter of a non-profit that provides creative play interventions to children with medical vulnerabilities, including pediatric cancer. This experience propelled her into a career of supporting individuals with cancer through treatment and survivorship. In her free time, Julia enjoys golfing, walking her dog, Baker, down the West Side Highway, weightlifting, and collecting matchbooks from restaurants around the city.
