Physical Therapist

Denis “Denny” O’Hara is a licensed physical therapist who earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at New York Medical College and undergraduate degree from New York University. Denny is a Chicago native and lifetime multi-sport athlete giving Denny an extensive background in competitive sports, with specialization in ice hockey, which profoundly sparked his interest in movement science and recovery from injury. This passion deepened during his time as a leader and assistant captain of the NYU Ice Hockey team, where personal experience with PT and sport injury, alongside being part of the D2 national championship victory, fueled his commitment to movement science, performance, and recovery. Denny’s clinical interests primarily include treating sports-related injuries and post-surgical patients, always with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
Prior to attending PT school, Denny gained valuable experience working in clinical research and orthopedic surgery. Outside of the clinic, Denny loves live music, participates in many sports, is an avid traveler, and is passionate about exploring new countries, cultures, cities, historical sites, and natural parks.
