Physical Therapist

Sarah Mischianti is a licensed Physical Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Her lifelong experience participating in various athletics as well as her continued love of staying active has lead Sarah to pursue the treatment of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Her clinical interests include the treatment of running related injuries, sports related conditions, and rehabilitation of post-operative patients. Sarah is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has volunteered in the medical tents at the New York City Marathon.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Business at Franklin and Marshall College. While attending Franklin and Marshall College, Sarah was a member of the women’s soccer team and was involved in the research of developmental genetics. Sarah earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. During her time at NYU, Sarah researched and contributed to multiple publications relating to vestibular dysfunction and hearing loss. Prior to embarking on her career in Physical Therapy, Sarah worked at Boston Children’s Hospital conducting research for studies focusing on children with rare neurogenetic diseases. Her extensive background in sports performance and her experience as a young physical therapy patient herself, has fueled Sarah’s passion for providing holistic and patient-centered care through the use of movement. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys running, weight training, traveling and eating her way through New York City.
