Christina Petrone has worked in outpatient physical therapy for nearly 20 years, both clinically and non-clinically. Christina graduated from Nassau Community College where she earned her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. After spending 5 years treating patients in both neurological and orthopeadic settings, she went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Empire State College in addition to her Master of Health Administration from University of Phoenix. She is currently the Director of Operations at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT) responsible oversight of administrative staff and front desk functions, program development, and community outreach.
Christina’s personal interest in fitness and rehab led her to persue various kettlebell certifications from both Dragon Door and Strong First. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
