Director, Operations

Christina Petrone has worked in outpatient physical therapy for over 20 years, both clinically and non-clinically. Christina graduated from Nassau Community College where she earned her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. After spending 5 years treating patients in both neurological and orthopeadic settings, she went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Empire State College in addition to her Master of Health Administration from University of Phoenix. She is currently the Director of Operations at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT), overseeing administrative staff and front desk functions, program development, and community outreach. Christina also is responsible for operations at the outpatient infusion center as well as activities related to Lenox Hill Hospital’s Commission on Cancer accreditation.
Christina’s personal interest in fitness and rehab led her to persue various kettlebell certifications from both Dragon Door and Strong First. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
